In united states , it is pointed out in a research that consumption of the salt in less quantity reduce the risk by 25 percent of cardiovascular disease such as stroke, heart attack, as well as lowering blood pressure and reduces the risk of death.

Dr. Erfan al-Shammeri, a cardiologist at Babil Hospital in Sana’a said, “Consuming foods high in salt can lead to high blood pressure. This can occur as the salt draws more water into the blood, and the increase in fluid volume exerts more pressure on the vessel walls and heart. High blood pressure is known to contribute to heart disease.”
