Recommendations about diet drug acomplia in Europe

Spokesperson for the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) pointed out that the result of review of diet drug Acomplia (rimonabant) will be published as early as June 29^th .

The European review of Acomplia has come out followed by the FDA’s decision not to sale of diet drug acomplia in the United States.

Currently acomplia is available in Europe which was approved by EMEA more than a year ago . More than 100, 000 Europeans purchased the diet drug acomplia.

The vote which was given by the U.S advisory panel was based upon the newer data than than that available to the EMEA a year ago.

The approval of Zimulti for sale in United States will depend upon the data from the large CRESCENDO trial which may take another two or three years.
